Our beautiful west coast has been spared from corporate seaweed harvesting! The licensing authority, MARA, wrote to the corporations looking to strip our coastline of seaweed and told them they wouldn’t process any of their applications until some serious issues are sorted. It means their plans are put on hold indefinitely.
