Why is this important?
Health bosses have been lying to us about waiting times for operations and medical procedures. We’ve already got one of the worst records in Europe and now its been uncovered that waiting times are much worse than we’ve been told.
It’s no exaggeration that people will die before they are seen by a doctor. Thousands more will see their own or loved one's health deteriorate before they get the care they need, resulting in unnecessary suffering.
Every signature on this petition means more pressure on politicians and health chiefs to come clean about what is really going on. Once it’s clear how bad the situation has become, we can focus our attention on the solutions - everyone in Ireland should have access to decent health care.
