There's been 3 months of bombing in Gaza, along with appalling restrictions on water, food, aid and electricity. Words are not enough. Ireland needs to take action now. Will you call the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Micheál Martin, and Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, and tell them to stop blocking the Occupied Territories Bill?

Hello. My name is [your name] from [your town/area]. I’m calling to raise my concerns about what's happening in Gaza right now.Tens of thousands of innocent civilians, half of them children, have been killed by constant bombing for the last 3 months. Water, electricity and aid have been cut off and people are unable to leave Gaza while the bombs continue to rain down on them.
Netanyahu's far-right government are committing war crimes and I am outraged that the UN Security Council is being obstructed by US vetoes.
It's clear that real pressure needs to be applied from the international community. The aid that's been donated is not being let in at the Rafah Crossing. The time for words has passed.
I am appalled that the government has been blocking the Occupied Territories Bill. Sadaka Ireland and a number of legal experts have shown that Ireland is free to bring this bill into law.
Article 24 of EU Regulation 2015/478 allows states to ban the importation of goods from non-member states on grounds of public morality or the protection of human life.
Ireland has a strong history of boycotting unjust and apartheid regimes. The blocking of the Occupied Territorities Bill is completely unjustifiable.
Please know that I am deeply shocked by what has been happening in Gaza and the apathy of the rest of the world. This will be a strong factor in how I vote in this year's elections.
