TO: IAN CARTER, CEO, RCSI Hospitals

Cancer patients face financial crisis while they are going through treatment, and parking charges add to their hardship. We are requesting that RCSI Hospitals Group create a formal parking charge exemption for cancer patients so they can afford to park their cars while receiving treatment, without being required to beg for informal reimbursements.

Why is this important?

According to the Irish Cancer Society's "Real Cost of Cancer" report, on average, a cancer patient will lose €1,400 a month in salary while facing €862 per month in additional costs, which results in extreme financial hardship. Hospital parking charges adds an unnecessary and burdensome expense to cancer patients.

Please sign and share to increase pressure on RCSI Hospitals Group.
